The opportunity

Deliver more with the team it had.

BTG’s marketing team faced growing demand for faster, higher-quality work across content, search optimisation, competitive analysis and lead management. Team members had explored AI individually, and the leadership wanted the whole team to build the capability together.

“It opened our eyes. The question was: how do we deliver more with the team we have? This gave us a way to do exactly that.”

Dan Pugh, Head of Marketing Services, BTG Eddisons
What the team did

Three stages, on the team’s own work.

Every agent was built for use on the participants’ own workflows, and each assignment was completed on their current workload between workshops.

PLAN

Map the workflows

The team mapped its highest-value workflows and identified where AI would make the greatest difference, leaving the first workshop with an assistant already in use.

BUILD

Build specialist agents

Participants built specialist agents that carry BTG's brand guidelines and expertise into every piece of work.

SCALE

Share across the team

The team designed shared agents for everyone, and a plan for bringing AI into its wider business systems.

The results

Capability and confidence, in six weeks.

Measured through the team’s feedback at the end of the programme.
